Pricing depends on what you need to have done, of course. To give you an idea on costs:
Web site services:
Written from scratch can be anywhere from $500 to $20,000 depending on the number of products, the complication of the design, and whether or not product descriptions and content are written by your company or by me. A simple web site of five pages or less can cost as little as $500 to implement.
Web site maintenance:
Just need some changes to your current web site? This work is done at only $20 per hour with a one hour minimum.
Consulting:
Basic business consulting is done at $50.00 per hour, however, much of the consulting is done free as a part of a web site design.
Other costs:
There are other costs associated with operating a web site outside of my realm. When you start a web site you will need to pay a yearly fee for your domain name (yourstorename.com) which is usually $10 to $20 per year. There is web hosting which is to pay a company to hold your files of your web site. This is usually about $20-$200 per month depending on the size of your web site.
Those are the two must haves. Other expenses depend on how fancy your web site is and what fun and interesting functions you want to have on your web site such as podcasting, accounting software, live chat functions, databases, etc.
